There is a lot going on in the world. It can be very easy, especially in today’s social media driven world, to easily forget about you. It’s easy to get lost in the lives of complete strangers on social media, especially if your looking to mentally take a break from your own life. Everyone, no matter what walk of life, looks for a break from their lives. That’s why vacations and vacation time exist. We all need a break from our day-to-day lives, no matter how good or bad they are.
Social media providers quick escapes on a minute by minute basis, but we need to be mindful to not get so lost in social media that we are not taking care of ourselves physically and mentally.
Here are 5 ways to add balance to using social media:
Schedule time for social media for the day
Give yourself 30 minutes to an hour of me time when you get up in the morning, and through out the day.
Do not use social media for at least and hour before going to bed.
Do a social media clean out
